[SOLVED] dmesg results

What does device descriptor read / 64, error-32 mean?

I installed my XCP-NG server on a mobile computing device and my system may not boot due to this error: USB device descriptor 3-1 read/64, error 32

I have used many things. Even with the USB ports disabled.

Until I called back and removed the default SR repository for Xen. So I started checking the /etc/fstab

file

[root@xcpserver2 ~]# cat/etc/fstab
LABEL=root-jvgtod or ext3 default, never 1
LABEL=swap-jvgtod default trading setting 4 0
LABEL=logs-jvgtod/var/log ext3 default, noatime 0 2
/opt/xensource/packages/iso/XenCenter.iso /var/xen/xc-install iso9660 loop, ro nothing 0

The default SR repository probably tried to merge the contents of the last line. Tried with word and it worked!! 🙂 I came to the conclusion that this error also appears when there is a functional problem in the /etc/fstab file. Hope this helps!

So my /etc/fstab registry now looks like this and the program solved the problem:

[root@xcpserver2 ~]# password /etc/fstab
LABEL=root-jvgtod / ext3 default, noatime 1 1
LABEL=swap-jvgtod swap fails 0 0
LABEL=logs-jvgtod /var/log ext3 defaults, noatime 0 2
#/opt/xensource/packages/iso/XenCenter.iso /var/xen/xc-install iso9660 loop,ro 0 0

I installed the XCP-NG server on my laptop, buto my system also failed to boot due to this error: USB 3-1 Device Descriptor read/64, error 32

I’ve tried many things. Even with the USB ports disabled.

Until further notice, in order to achieve this goal, I have removed the default SR repository for Xen. So I checked the /etc/fstab

file

[root@xcpserver2 ~]# cat/etc/fstab
LABEL=root-jvgtod ext3 default, noatime 3 1
LABEL=swap-jvgtod Default alternate moves 4 0
LABEL=logs-jvgtod compared to ext3 default var/log, noatime zero 2
/opt/xensource/packages/iso/XenCenter.iso /var/xen/xc-install iso9660 loop,ro 8 0

The default SR database attempted to get the last row’s contribution. I tried to comment and it was hard for me!! 🙂 I’ve come to the conclusion that the idea error also indicates if the problem should be in the /etc/fstab list. Hope this helps!

So my /etc/fstab file now looks like this and solved the problem:

[root@xcpserver2 ~]# puma /etc/fstab
LABEL=root-jvgtod - default ext3, noatime 1 1
LABEL=swap-jvgtod swap swap not working 7 0
LABEL=logs-jvgtod /var/log ext3 defaults, noatime 0 2
#/opt/xensource/packages/iso/XenCenter.iso /var/xen/xc-install iso9660 Loop,ro nil 0

    [SOLVED] Dmesg Results

    Last edited by captcharis on Tue, 06/03/2018 10:25 AM, edited 1 time in total.

    Why is USB 2.0 not working in Linux?

    I have something about the dmseg command and its output
    I have set “dmesg –level=err,warn | head” and because each of them only gives errors and warnings when using dsmeg
    Is this process command format permanent, and if I’m sure, how can I change it back to normal?

    What does error-32 mean in Linux-USB device enumeration?

    You will also find the results I suggest with my dsmeg

    Re: Dmesg Results

    Linux Mint 19.2 x64 Cinnamon 4.15.0-118-universal
    Gigabyte GA-AB350M-D3H (F20) / Ryzen 5 sixteen cents / Micron Ballistix Sport DDR4 2400 / 2 x 8 GB Sapphire Radeon HD6450
    NVMe SSD: Samsung 960 EVO 250GB / SATA SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB + Toshiba OCZ VX500 512GB

    The error may also indicate that the USB ports are consuming a lot of power. I’ll tryPlease unplug your equipment and/or use an externally powered USB hub.

    Re: Dmesg Results

    Thank you, another friend
    The problem is that I don’t have a connection to my USB sticks, the built-in security camera doesn’t work
    I thought that was the problem.
    Anyway, thanks for your time and every link.
